Meet Karina

For Karina, styling comes as second nature. Give her a pair of scissors and she’s in her sweet spot – and one that she’s been operating in for 13 years and counting!

Having run her own salon for seven of those years, Karina is not only incredibly talented when it comes to all things hair and makeup, but she also has a fine-tuned ability to perceive the wants and needs of her clients – a skill that can only be mastered with time and experience.

When she’s not working, she’s hanging with her gorgeous two-year-old daughter, Koopah, who she describes as crazy, loud and dramatic. For Karina, her daughter is ‘her world’.

What got you into hairdressing?

I loved the idea of doing something that could make people feel more confident in who they are.

How long have you been in the industry?

13 years!

Where is the most exotic place you’ve traveled?

Mexico. In another lifetime.

Favourite food?

Give me anything Italian.

Least favourite thing to do as a hairdresser?

Bright fashion colours.

How do you approach life?

Take each day as it comes.
