Meet Tamika!
Very few people can say they’ve ever won a national award – but that sort of achievement is all in a day’s work for Junior Colourist, Tamika, who took out the De Lorenzo Apprentice National Rookie for her colour and photograph earlier this year.
Tamika’s passion for hair styling can be traced right back to her childhood, where her mum used to do her hair and taught her how to braid. ‘I’ve always just loved playing with hair!’ she says.
She’s fun, dynamic and extremely talented – and there’s no telling what her next achievement will be. One thing’s for sure, she’s got the eye for style and colour that’s likely to take her a long way in the hair and makeup industry. So watch this space!
